of ash and alder woods in via Zini

Going along Via Marchetti us gradually climbs higher and higher, soon reaching the highest hills of Arzignano near the border with Ronco. The woods that surround the Valley of Sandri, in its two branches, are full of black locust, hazel, elder maples and elms, which indicates that the forests along the valleys were treated for mostly coppice, to draw firewood. Turning a few meters from the border to the left, cross a small valley, populated mostly by ash (Fraxinus excelsior ), benefit from the freshness of the valley, accompanied by elder in the undergrowth and a few olmo.

From up here you can enjoy a beautiful landscape, and you can also appreciate the excellent kitchen of "Celestine," which I quote here the presence, in front of a mulberry considerable size, probably pruned every year to contain fruiting.

thence along via Zini can be seen on the right training of Alders blacks. Intrigued by the unusual finding in full hillside, I find that in fact the area is rich in water, outcropping in places, with the presence of horsetails. The grove is part of the bank within dammed and its water is surfacing. Even the lawn below, however, is rich in moisture and has a soft and lush.
